Ali Ufkî: Between Two Worlds

Ali Ufkî—born Wojciech Bobowski—was a musician, interpreter, and compiler whose life connected the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth with the Ottoman court.

Drawing on his Mecmua-i Saz ü Söz and related sources, the programme explores music as a meeting place between languages, faiths, notational traditions, and cultural memory.
