Hasan Baran Fırat is a musician and researcher working across historical soundscapes, urban music practices, and architectural acoustics. A Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the University of Antwerp, he directs Ensemble Rûm and performs on Istanbul kemençesi and çeng.
